Loved the different takes from all the moms who shared their perspective on why they decided to homeschool. It was such a great read with a plethora of insight. Glad I stumbled upon this gem. I would recommend this to ALL mother whether they homeschool or not. This book will definitely give them the initiative to at least teach their children the subjects/topics they can imagine that they aren’t getting in a public or private schooling. Job well done on this book…I appreciate you all for sharing. I’m sure you will touch more lives than you could possibly fathom with this one.

It is so great to feel represented!

I was overjoyed to see African Americans represented in this manner regarding home education. The typical face of home education is not normally us, and I was so happy to see this book come out full of families that look like mine! The words of these women are amazing! Their stories are so real and true and I definitely felt like I was not alone in why I decided to educate my children at home. This book was well written and put together. A quick & easy read that kept me wanting to learn more about these families and their stories.
